Jonathan Foster Kenny, VP International Sales Director, Businessweek

Jonathan is responsible for advertising sales in EMEA across all Businessweek platforms.

Prior to joining Businessweek in May 2001 Jonathan spent six years in Hong Kong. During his time in Asia he launched a bilingual magazine for the investment funds industry which was then sold to Readers Digest Group.

He was also Group Publisher for MEDIA magazine – the leading advertising trade magazine across Asia. There he developed MEDIA from a single magazine to a multi-platform media company launching two new magazines, three advertising and media awards events and a substantial conference business. Prior to that, Jonathan was advertising sales director for the International Herald Tribune in Asia Pacific. Whilst in Asia, Jonathan was Deputy Chairman of the Society of Publishers in Asia and was on a Hong Kong Trade Development committee aimed to promote Hong Kong as the Asian center for advertising & marketing.

During his career he has had the opportunity to work with clients and agencies from all over Europe and Asia building fully integrated communication packages and building real return on investment. Jonathan has spoken at events in Asia and Europe on advertising, media and marketing.

Jonathan captained his own yacht from Australia to UK sailing and living aboard for one year. He now lives in London and is married with three children, Scarlett, Isabella and James.
